Explore the places and characters that raised the city to the top of the art and culture scene. Explore the modern and traditional cuisine, cocktail bars and centuries-old inns. Unwind over a drink, dance till the small hours, have a great evening out at the theatre… This complete trip offer includes several full day accessible tours in nearby cities like El Escorial, Toledo, Segovia, Aranjuez and Chinchón.

We will explore the best locations at the old city of Madrid in two days. We will use our wheelchair accessible minivan to move around the city alternating with some walking tours. With a breath-taking panoramic tour, we will discover the most beautiful monuments, buildings and streets of
the city. Medieval Madrid, Habsburg and Bourbon quarters, Modern and Contemporary areas, parks and gardens, its palaces and historical buildings, are attractions which the visitor will never forget.
This is a full day accessible tour, visiting the Valley of the Fallen, Monastery of El Escorial and beautiful Segovia. We will visit the impressive cross of 150 meters high at the Valley of the Fallen overlooking the magnificent nature reserve of the Sierra de Madrid, The magnificent Monastery of El Escorial and seductive Segovia. Segovia is a World Heritage City, with unique monuments which alone make a visit well worthwhile: Its impressive aqueduct and the picturesque alcazar that was one of the inspirations for Walt Disney’s Cinderella Castle.
TOLEDO, ARANJUEZ AND CHINCHON
This is a gorgeous accessible guided tour of two days time visiting Toledo and Southern Royal Estates. This tour Involves little walking/rolling as we will use our wheelchair accessible minivan. Toledo is one of the oldest cities in Europe and home of famous paintings of El Greco. Toledo is one of the cities in Spain that preserves the architecture of three cultures: Jewish, Muslim and Christian (Arab, Gothic, Mudéjar, Barroc and Renassaince styles). We will also visit the Royal Palace in Aranjuez and its beautiful gardens. This is one of the Spanish crown properties. We will end up visiting the emblematic old square of Chinchon and the magnificent viewpoints overlooking the city.
DAY BY DAY
Pickup at Madrid Airport/Train Station. Transfer to client’s hotel.
Majestic Madrid Tour: This is an entirely step-free accessible guided tour involving little Walking/ Rolling + Panoramic visit. We will discover together the most spectacular buildings and monuments that Madrid has to offer with a panoramic accessible tour around the whole city.We will make
several stops during the panoramic tour and upon client’s request, son pictures can be taken.
Northwest Treasures: We will be meeting at client’s hotel at 9h in the morning to start with this incredible accessible tour visiting the Valley of the Fallen, El Escorial Monastery (UNESCO) and Segovia (UNESCO). Sight to visit: The Aqueduct, the Cathedral, the Alcazar of Segovia, Royal Street and Church of Vera Cruz.
Deciphering Toledo: Toledo is one of the oldest cities in Europe and home to the famous works of El Greco. Toledo has a mixture of Spanish architecture representing the Moorish, Gothic, Moorish, Renaissance and Baroque styles. The accessible city tour includes a guided tour inside the Gothic cathedral, Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, Church of Santo Tomé and Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca. We will also have the chance to see the beautiful city gates (Cambrón and Bisagra), La Plaza de Zocodover, Alcazar, etc.
The panoramic tour around the city is one of the most interesting things of the day. We will stop at the magnificent viewpoints overlooking the city. We will return to the hotel at 18h.
Day-off: Free day to go shopping and to explore the city.
Royal palace and Prado Museum: Royal Palace tour: (1,5 hour tour): Home to the Kings of Spain from Carlos III to Alfonso XIII, Madrid’s
Royal Palace is now open to the public. Prado Museum (2 hour tour). The Prado is the main Spanish national art museum, located in central
Madrid. It features one of the world’s finest collections of European art. El Prado is one of the most visited sites in the world, and it is considered to be among the greatest museums of art.
Southern Madrid Royal Estates: Visit Aranjuez and Chinchon. Aranjuez: this Tour begins with a guided accessible tour inside the Royal Palace of Aranjuez, which is one of the residences of the Spanish Royal Family. Chinchon: Visit to beautiful Old Square
Transfer to Airport/Train Station; We will pick up the clients at the hotel in Madrid and take them in our wheelchair adapted minivan to the airport/train station.
