The irish sea & western isles

Calling in to a selection of vibrant cities including Cardiff, Liverpool and Glasgow, and visiting the Isle of Man in time for the famous TT Races, you’ll enjoy some excellent sailing conditions and see some stunning coastlines, in these fantastic UK voyages.

Edinburg and the East Coast

The yacht will be participating in some superb East Coast voyages this summer. Calling in to the picturesque city of Edinburgh, the seaside town of Whitby and getting involved in the popular Great Yarmouth Maritime Festival (which is attended by 30,000 visitors annually) you won’t want to miss out on these spectacular voyages!

Norwegian Fjords

The sailing boat will be embarking on a wonderful voyage exploring the stunning Norwegian coastline and the gorgeous valleys and fjords of this remarkable region. Sailing across the North Sea to  discover the amazing Shetland Islands, alongside other spectacular tall ships through the beautiful Norwegian fjords, will make for an unforgettable experience. The renaissance city of Kristiansand will celebrate the fleet’s arrival before the Lord Nelson participates in the second race to Aalborg, Denmark where the closing ceremonies will take place before arriving in the Scottish capital, Edinburgh.

Whale watching in the Azores

Departing from the sunny shores of Portugal, the ship will be heading to the Azores to embark on a fantastic whale-watching voyage. The Azores are counted amongst the best whale watching destinations in the world. This small group of nine islands is home to just over a quarter of the known species of whale and dolphin, including humpback, blue and killer whales. The crew will discover and learn about the whales and dolphins they encounter thanks to our guest wildlife expert.

The South Coast and Belgium

The ship will be taking part in some superb south coast voyages this summer. She will be attending Cowes Week and the Bournemouth Airshow, as well as calling in to the beautiful Poole Harbour, the bustling city of London and the historic naval city, Portsmouth. She will embark on a brilliant voyage to the picturesque town of Weymouth, where she will discover South England’s Jurassic Coast, before sailing  across the Channel to Bruges to spend some time exploring this lovely Belgian city.
Tour Duration: 8 days

D-Day Memorial Voyage

The ship will take part in a very special WW2 D-Day memorial voyage. Coinciding with the anniversary of the D-Day landings, she will re-trace the routes of the vessels that took Allied soldiers over to France and visit the Normandy beaches where they landed, the city of Cherbourg and sail up the canal to Caen. We will be joined on board by a WW2 historian who will bring history to life as we sail.
